BLUETTI Power Stations

BLUETTI’s timeline says its R&D team formed in 2009 and that BLUETTI Power Inc. was founded in 2021. A 2023 press release from CBAK Energy names Shenzhen PowerOak Technology Co., Ltd. as BLUETTI’s parent company.
The model families are EB (small units such as the EB3A and EB70S), AC (from the AC2A up to the AC200L and AC300), Elite (all-in-one LiFePO4 units, from the Elite 10 to the Elite 400) and Apex, a modular home backup unit. BLUETTI files the Apex 300, Elite 300 and AC200 line under “Home Backup System” in its warranty table. BLUETTI’s Elite buying guide calls the current line the Elite V2 series. BLUETTI’s discontinued-models page names the replacements: the AC200P became the AC200L, the AC200MAX the Elite 200 V2, and the EP500 the Apex 300.

Warranty
BLUETTI’s warranty table runs from 12 to 72 months for power stations; the 12 months apply to the small X30 and X60. The EB3A and EB70S get 24 months. The AC180, AC200L, Elite 100 V2 and Elite 200 V2 get 60, and the AC60 and AC240 get 72. Under home backup, the Apex 300 and Elite 300 get 60 months; the AC200P and AC200MAX are listed as 24 + 24. Solar panels and accessories get 12 months. The extension applies only to the AC200MAX, AC200P and B230: automatic when bought on BLUETTI’s site, by application otherwise. Units from unauthorized resellers aren’t covered, and the warranty is limited to the country of purchase. BLUETTI warranty periods and warranty policy.
App and connectivity
Everything goes through the BLUETTI App, but the radio differs by model. The AC180 connects over Bluetooth only, according to its comparison table. The Elite 100 V2 lists Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and BLUETTI says the Elite 200 V2 and Elite 300 connect over either. The Apex 300 manual shows separate Wi-Fi and Bluetooth toggles. BLUETTI’s discontinued-models page says older units such as the AC200MAX can still connect to the app. For Apex systems, the app also delivers BLUETTI’s Extreme Weather Alerts.
Expansion and home backup
Some models take expansion batteries and some don’t, even within a series. BLUETTI says the AC180 and Elite 200 V2 can’t expand; the AC180 can only be recharged from a B80, B230 or B300 in Power Bank Mode. The AC200L is listed as expandable to 8,192 Wh.
The Apex 300 is built as a system. Its manual allows up to six B300K batteries per unit, and the Hub A1 parallel box links up to three Apex 300s for 11.5 kW. For house circuits, BLUETTI pairs the Apex 300 with its AT1 panel to back up essential circuits, and sells a Home Backup Kit; have a licensed electrician do the wiring. The SolarX 4K charge controller converts 150–500 V rooftop arrays to sub-60 V charging at up to 4,000 W.
Solar panels and connectors
BLUETTI’s panel names in its warranty table are the PV68, PV100 FX, PV120/PV120S, PV200, PV350 and PV420; it also sells the SP200L. The SP200L uses a standard MC4 connector, and BLUETTI says its panels work with other brands’ stations that accept MC4 and a compatible voltage. On the station side, the Apex 300 has two XT60 DC inputs rated 12–60 V and 20 A (1,200 W each), and its manual allows third-party panels with MC4 connectors and 12–60 V open-circuit voltage. The AC180’s solar input is 12–60 V and 10 A, up to 500 W.
