Anker SOLIX Power Stations

Anker SOLIX is the home and portable energy brand of Anker Innovations, the Changsha-headquartered company founded in 2011 by CEO Steven Yang that also owns eufy and soundcore. Anker SOLIX’s own timeline dates its first portable power station to 2015 and its first LFP model to 2021.

The power stations come in two series. The C models (C300, C800 Plus, C1000, C2000 Gen 2) belong to what Anker calls its Camping or C Series. The F models, such as the F2000 and F3800, belong to the Flex Series, which Anker aims at RVs and home backup. Gen 2 marks a second version: the C1000 Gen 2 has 1,024 Wh against the original C1000’s 1,056 Wh, but more output and no expansion port. Older units were also sold under numbers; our database lists the F1200 as the Anker 757 and the F2000 as the 767.

Warranty

The C300, F3000, F3800 and F3800 Plus product pages each list a 5-year warranty. Anker’s warranty registration page says registering your portable power station “activates 5-year hassle-free protection”. It asks for the store, order number and proof of purchase, and lists Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy and others as purchase channels. The page also says the warranty is restricted to the country of purchase. The PS200 bifacial panel is sold with a 5-year warranty too. Anker SOLIX warranty registration.

App and connectivity

All current models pair with the Anker app. The C300 page says it connects over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and the F3800 spec sheet lists Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for app control. Anker uses the app for more than monitoring. On the C1000 Gen 2, the 1,600 W HyperFlash fast recharge is enabled in the app, and time-of-use scheduling is set there. On the F3800 series, the app runs Storm Guard, which tops up the battery before forecast severe weather when the station is connected to the Home Power Panel.

Expansion batteries and home backup

Expansion depends on the model. Anker says the C1000 Gen 2 has no expansion port, while the C2000 Gen 2 reaches 4 kWh with one BP2000 (Gen 2) battery. The F3800 and F3800 Plus each take up to six BP3800 batteries (3,840 Wh each) for 26.9 kWh, and two units joined by a Double Power Hub reach 53.8 kWh and 12 kW. The F3000 page lists up to 24 kWh.

For house wiring, Anker sells the F3800 series with a 10-Circuit Manual Transfer Switch or with its Smart Home Power Kit, which Anker says integrates the grid and solar. Storm Guard and Anker’s bill-saving modes need the Home Power Panel. Anker calls the station itself plug-and-play, but the transfer switch or panel belongs to a licensed electrician.

Solar panels and connectors

Anker’s folding panels are the PS100, PS200 and PS400; it also sells rigid panels for permanent installs. The PS200 comes with two 8.2 ft solar charging cables and an XT-60i cable. Inputs vary a lot. The C300 accepts only 11–28 V panels with an XT60 plug. The F3000 has a high-voltage input (11–165 V, 17 A, 1,600 W) and a low-voltage one (11–60 V, 17 A, 800 W), plus an Anderson port for DC output. The F3800 ships with an MC4-to-XT60 cable, and the F3800 Plus raises solar input to 3,200 W from the F3800’s 2,400 W.
